Executive Vice President of American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists-professor Franklind .Loffer visited our hospital

In the afternoon of May 17th,2012，the current Executive Vice President of American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists(AAGL)-Professor Franklind .Loffer and former President Professor C.Y.Liu and a total of four visited our hospital.

The guests, accompanied by the Secretary of the Party committee Keqin Hua and Deputy Secretary Xiaojun Chen, visited Yangpu District,and especially the VIP outpatient department,VIP gynecologic ward and operation theatre of Yangpu District.In the operation theatre, the experts watched some ongoing hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgeries, asked in detail about operation progress, and conducted in-depth exchanges with experts of our hospital about the development situation of laparoscopic operation. The advanced diagnosis and treatment technology, humanized diagnosis and treatment mode, modern medical facilities,equipment and environment were highly praised.

Subsequent expert exchange meeting was hosted by Secretary Keqin Hua. She also delivered a welcome speech.President Jinlei Wu introduced the history and current situation of our hospital to the visiting guests. In subsequent interaction and exchange, Director of Gynecologic Department Xishi Liu, associate professor Jingxin Ding and Doctor Jing Dong from cervical diseases department shared their experience in minimally invasive surgery for gynecologic tumors, female genital tract malformations, and hysteroscopic treatment respectively.Foreign guests expressed their wonder and appreciation to the superb operational skills and the quantity of surgery, and conveyed their intention to enhance cooperation and communication with our hospital.

Visiting experts indicated the hope that through the exchanges, we could set up a connection between Ob.&Gyn.doctors from China, the US and even the whole world, share experience and lessons with mutual benefit to improve the lives of many female patients.
