In the afternoon of April 28th,2012，Professor Benjamin K Tsang, who is the director of the Reproductive Biology Unit of Ob.&Gyn.Department of Ottawa University, Canada, and senior scientist of  Canadian Health Research Institute and Seoul University of Korea, came to our hospital for academic exchanges, and made a speech entitled "New Perspectives on the Molecular Mechanisms of Chemoresistance in Ovarian Cancer". Dr. Benjamin K Tsang introduced advances in ovarian cancer research, especially on the molecular mechanism of drug resistance in ovarian cancer, and prospected and explored future research directions.
The meeting was hosted by Professor Xin Lu and Associate Professor Xiaofang Yi. Professor Sunwei Guo,Associate Professor Liangqin Yao and Associate Professor Meirong Du attended the meeting, a number of graduate students also participated. After the meeting, Dr. Benjamin K Tsang made further exchanges and discussion with many graduate students, and welcomed them to the Ottawa University for further cooperative research and advanced studies.
