Professor Xu has been devoted to clinical practices and education in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology for almost three decades. He has presided over National Key R&D Program; National High-tech R&D Program (863 Program); National Science & Technology Pillar Program during the Eleventh Five-year Plan Period and Major Program of National Natural Science Foundation of China. Professor Xu, as the first author or corresponding author, has published more than 70 articles in domestic and international journals such as Journal of Clinical Oncology (JCO), Cancer Research and Journal of Pharmacy Research (JPR) including more than 40 SCI papers. Professor Xu received the Ministry of Education (MOE) Scientific and Technological Progress Second Class Award as the first author; Second Class Award for Technical Innovation, Chinese Medicine Third Class Award. Professor Xu was granted 4 invention patents and two practical new-type patents. Because of his outstanding achievements in clinical, research, teaching and managerial work professor Xu won many honorary titles including the national candidate for New Century Talent Project, Excellent Discipline Leader of Shanghai, Pioneering Talent of Shanghai. He was also granted special government allowances of the State Council. He has published three books as editor and two course books as editor or associate editor. Professor Xu has been recognized with international peers for exemplary leadership and dedicated work.

Professor Hua has published more than 100 articles including 42 SCI papers and act as the editor-in-chief of Practice of Obstetrics & Gynecology, member of editorial board of Chinese Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, National Medical Journal of China and Journal of Experimental &Clinical Cancer, expert reviewer of Journal of Experimental &Clinical Cancer Research.Professor Hua has long been devoted to clinical research on minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, genital malformation, pelvic floor reconstruction and oncologic endocrinology especially preservation of reproductive function. She herself have finishes over thousands of highly difficult cases making her rank among the international tops.Professor Hua was granted 1 invention patents and 3 practical new-type patents. Dedicated work and trailblazing research won her the first prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Award, Wuzhou Science and Technology Award as well as worldwide reputation.
