On July 7th, Mr Hacker, Director of Family Planning of DoH, Bangladesh led a delegation of 10 to our Huangpu Branch. President Xu Congjian, Vice Party Secretary Chen Xiaojun and Director Yao Xiaoying welcomed and communicated with them. President Xu started by welcoming the guests to our hospital. Vice Party Secretary Chen later talked about the history and current development of the hospital. Afterwards, Director Yao had an in-depth discussion with the guests on the family planning work in our hospital.

Family planning is not only a medical issue, but a social issue. The colleagues from Bangladesh thought highly of the achievements of our family planning work and recognized that many experiences could be their textbook. After the presentation of Director Yao, they were very interested and raised many questions on family planning. They were impressed with the work we do and hoped to learn from us, to serve the patients and to give back to the society.

Later, the guests visited the History Museum of our hospital and Ji Ai Genetics & IVF Institute and continued the dialogue with relevant experts. According to the delegation, they were honored to have the opportunity to visit us and hoped that the two sides could carry on the interaction with substantial cooperation covering many fields, so as to promote the friendship between the two countries and the work of OB/GYN.
