Prof. Hua Keqin and Dr. Yi Xiaofang Attended The 46th AAGL Global Congress

The 46th AAGL Global Congress on Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery was hosted at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center, Maryland, the United States, between November 12-16, 2017 with a theme of enhancing minimally invasive gynecologic surgery through quality, patient safety and innovation. Prof. Hua’s team presented a Comprehensive Study of Video Endoscopic Inguinal Lymphadenectomy and Conventional Open Inguinal Lymphadenectomy in Treating Vulvar Cancer in panel session: Maximizing Efficiency and Safety of Laparoscopy in Low Resource Settings elaborating on the challenges facing endoscopy related surgeries and how they can be overcome. Prof. Hua acted as the Co-Chair of OOGA International Symposium focusing on the current diagnosis and minimally invasive management of Cesarean Scar Defect (CSD) and Cesarean Scar Ectopic Pregnancy (CSP). During which Prof. Hua shared her experience with carious surgical techniques in the treatment of CSD.Dr. Yi Xiaofang presented the successful twin pregnancy in a patient with Hemi-Uterus corrected by laparoscopic Strassman’s Metroplasty during Reproductive Issues Session. Dr. Yi also attended the Open Communications Session and shared her opinions on how Nrf2 Contributes to Cisplatin Resistance via Suppressing the Iron Export Related Gene SLC40A1 in Human Ovarian Cancer Cells.
