A delegation comprising 22 members, led by professor Goran Lingman, director of Gynecology and obstetrics of LUND University, Sweden and medical school of Malmo University, visited our Yangpu District on the afternoon of September 21, 2012. Xu Congjian, the director of Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital of Fudan University, extended a warm welcome to the visitors on behalf of our hospital. Vice party secretary Chen Xiaojun made a brief introduction to the medicine, teaching, and research of our hospital. Professor Goran Lingman then made a speech, and the other members of the delegation also introduced themselves respectively. According to professor Goran Lingman, their trip was to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of Slottsstadens läkarhus hospital in Sweden. He said that he was very glad because Slottsstadens läkarhus hospital and Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital of Fudan University cooperated and communicated with each other for so many years. He also expressed his expectation for further cooperation and guidance in robotic surgery. Later, Chen Xiaojun directed the visitors to take a close look at the VIP clinic, gynecological VIP ward, and operating room. The visitors all said that they were honored to have such an opportunity to further communicate with our hospital. Over the years, LUND University has well cooperated and communicated with our hospital. Excellent midwives and nurse staffs of our hospital are dispatched to LUND University for training, and many doctors and nursing student from Sweden also come to our hospital for exchange and learning.
