A group of 4 members, including the executive vice president of American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) Professor Franklind .Loffer and former president Professor C.Y.Liu, visited our hospital on the afternoon of May 17, 2012.

Accompanied by Party Secretary Hua Keqin and vice Party secretary Chen Xiaojun, the guests visited Yangpu District of our hospictal, took a close look at the VIP clinic, gynecological VIP inpatient, and operating room. In the operating room, they watched the ongoing combined laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. They asked about the details of operation procedures, and had in-depth communication with our hospital’s experts about the Laparoscopy surgery. The visitors acclaimed our hospital’s advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies, customized diagnostic and treatment model, as well as the modern diagnostic and treatment facilities and environment.

The follow-up communication meeting was presided over by Party Secretary Hua Keqin, who also delivered a welcome speech. Wu Jinglei, the director of our hospital, introduced the history and status quo of our hospital. In the interaction session, the director of gynecology department Liu Xishi, vice director Ding Jingxin, and doctor Dong Jing from cervical division shared their experience of minimally invasive surgical therapy of gynecological tumor, minimally invasive surgical therapy of female genital abnormalities and hysteroscopic treatment, respectively. The guests were amazed and appreciated for our excellent surgical skills and large surgery amount. They expressed their intention to enhance the cooperation and exchanges between AAGL and our hospital.

The visitors stated that they expected obstetricians and gynecologists from China and US, even other countries in the world, could communicate with each other to share experience and lessons, benefit each other, and better treat female patients.
