Kimberly Kho MD and MPH, the assistant professor from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, visited our hospital on the afternoon of April 26, 2012, and delivered a lecture on "how do teaching hospitals train obstetricians and gynecologists in USA" and "the complication of gynecological laparoscopic operation". Wu Jinglei, the director of Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital of Fudan University, extended a warm welcome to Kimberly Kho for her visit. Chief gynecologist Liu Xishi and distinguished professor Guo Sunwei gave Kimberly Kho the tour of the visit, and professor Guo presided over the lecture.

Kimberly Kho shared her own experiences with residents from our Hospital to illustrate the system adopted in US for training obstetricians and gynecologists, as well as her feelings about medicine study. She then discussed with the gynecologists present about the complications of gynecological laparoscopic operation and their preventions. The attendees stated that they learnt a lot from the lively discussion.
