On 6th June, Human Sperm Bank ofFudan University was put into operation in Ob and Gyn Hospital of FudanUniversity.  

Sources say that most provinces in China,such as Beijing and Shanghai are facing a severe sperm shortage due to risingdemand from hospitals and fertility institutions. Part of the problem also liesin the higher than average standards at the banks. Besides being medicallyhealthy with sperm of good vitality and density, a donor's sperm has to be ableto survive a liquid nitrogen temperature. 

In Human Sperm Bank of Fudan University, acaring and skilled professional staff with extensive experience will screendonor candidates thoroughly and optimize specimen quality.
