Electrocardiographic Department was founded in 1973. Staffs in the department include one associate professor, one physician in charge, two technologists in charge and four technicians. 

The department owns four ECG computer work stations, three Holter work stations and two ABPM work station. More than 70,000 patients received ECG, Holter or ABPM test in the department every year. 

Doctors in the department are also responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of hospitalized patients with medical complications. Rescuing of severe patients and keeping the safety of perinatal women are also the task of physicians in ECG department. The internal medicine clinic was opened in October, 2008 which effectively improves the medical care for obstetrical and gynecological patients in the hospital, ensuring the medical safety for them.

Basic medical training is given to all the doctors and nurses in the hospital by ECG department every year.
